How can I activate my MTN postpaid line?
To activate your postpaid line, please follow the following instructions:
- Insert your SIM card in the mobile
- Switch on your mobile
- MTN word will appear on your mobile's screen

What are the required Identity documents?
The contract should contain the customer's left hand fingerprint and his/her signature when setting the contract in any of MTN's costumer care centre or POS
The Syrians: The new personal ID issued by the Ministry of Interior.
The Foreign customers:
- Passports exclusively
- The personal ID of Lebanese attached with a copy of the entry paper to the Syrian territory or with copy of the passport includes the border stamp which defines the date of entry into Syria( this action only for the Lebanese)
The Governmental public sectors:
- An attorney by the authorized representative of the government to sign the contract on behalf of the authority
- Official announcement authorized by the government's representative to sign the contract on behalf of the authority
Business companies:
- A valid copy of the commercial registration
- An attorney by the authorized representative of the compnay to sign the contract on behalf of the authority
- Official announcement authorized by the Company's representative to sign the contract on behalf of the authority
Public Attorney and Private Attorney:
Both public and private attorney are accepted if its certify was ensured
For public attorney, it is enough to mention the word phone in it
For private attorney, it is required to mention the needed service
For Minor
MTN post paid line should be registerated by the minor's guardian (father or grandfather), the guardian should bring his Family Book to MTN as a prove.
If the minor was foreigner and his legal guardian was Syrian, an insurance fees for foreigners is required to be paid (10021 S.P) and the minor cannot retrieve the payment even if he/she became over 18 years old.
If the minor was Syrian and the legal guardian was foreigner, an insurance fees for foreigners is required to be paid (10021 S.P) and the minor can retrieve the payment when he/she becomes over 18 years old.
What are the protection codes of my postpaid line?
You will find the protection code of MTN postpaid line on your SIM card. Keep these numbers in a safe place to use it later when needed
PIN code (the PIN code consists of four numbers), when your mobile is switch off, the PIN code is the protection code of the SIM card. You can activate your PIN code by entering the mobile's menu.
PUK (the unlock code, consists of eight numbers), if you inserted your incorrect PIN code three times, your SIM card will be deactivate and the system will require the PUK code.

What are bills payments services, and how can I know my balance?MTN issues the bills on monthly bases; you can contact MTN's costumer care centre to know dates of bills issue.
MTN offers you a service where you can know your monthly bill, outgoing calls and SMS's costs payable after the bill is issued.
You can know your balance by:
IVR (answering machine) by calling 101 from your mobile
By send SMS contains the word "Bill" in English or "فاتورة " in Arabic to the number 101 from your mobile, you will receive a SMS includes the bill value and the current calls value starting from the last bill.
How can I pay my monthly Bill?You can pay your monthly bill in any easiest way you like that saves you time and effort.
You can choose to pay your bill by any of the following six ways:
- MTN Post Paid Voucher
- Billing service
- Direct debit
- By visiting customer service center
- By ATM
- By visiting one of Byblos bank branches
- By MTN menu services
You can know the value of your line's issued bill and your current calls; also you can pay your bill by using a post paid voucher by following these instructions:
Press *111# to choose "service" then option 1: bills to get:
- Choose (1) to know your balance by a special list which contains bill's value and current calls value (as appears in the drawing)
- Choose (2) to pay your bill after entering the mobile number.
