MTN prepaid line Activation To activate your prepaid line, please follow the below steps: Insert the SIM card in your mobile Turn on the mobile phone MTN will appear on your mobile's screen Use any recharging cards to fill your MTN prepaid line with units by calling 1818 or *100* Scratched Card Number# then dial. The answering machine will inform you with your balance, validity period and your new mobile number your MTN prepaid line is ready to receive and make calls

Information about Prepaid line balance

The cost of new prepaid line is 50 SYP ( Tax is inclusive) and it doesn't contain any units, you should charge your balance with units by buying one of MTN's recharge cards starting from 200 and above from any MTN's centers or Customer service centers.

In case your validity period and units balance were expired and you didn't recharge your MTN prepaid line, your line will enter the grace period (5 days) which you can only receive incoming calls, SMS and to use "Call me (Hakini)" service during it.

You can recharge your card during the grace period by adding new units your remaining units in your balance.

If you didn't recharge your prepaid line during the grace period, then your line will enter the deactivation period and the system will freeze your units until you activate your prepaid line by adding new units to your remaining units. You can reactivate your prepaid line during the deactivate period (30 days) starting from the expiry date of the grace period by checking any of MTN's customer care service centres.

By dialing the number *100# to check your balance remaining days' status

Tariff

The local calls and SMSs tariffs for MTN prepaid line are as following:

• Mobile to mobile = 8 units/minute
• Mobile to landline = 10 units/minute
• Local SMS = 8 units
• International SMS = 16 units

Calls' tariffs during Happy Fridays (from 6:00 am till 6:00 pm) are as following:

• Mobile to mobile = 6 units/minute
• Mobile to landline = 8 units/minute
